VIVERSE Creator Program – Creator Grants for WebXR Worlds

VIVERSE's Creator Program offers creator grants to help developers, artists, and storytellers build web-based 3D immersive experiences, including interactive worlds, immersive art, and next-gen games and storytelling. Morgan-Menil Fellowship 2026-27 (Drawing Institute)

The Morgan Drawing Institute and the Menil Drawing Institute (Houston) offer a 3-9 month research fellowship supporting independent projects on the history, theory, interpretation, or cultural meaning of drawing. The Morgan-Menil Fellow is expected to spend part of the fellowship in residence at The Morgan Library & Museum (New York) and another part at the Menil Collection, with time devoted primarily to the research project and participation in Drawing Institute programs. Stipend is commensurate with experience: $4,000/month (pre-doctoral), $4,850/month (post-doctoral within seven years of PhD), or $5,100/month (mid-career), plus a modest travel allowance. Folger Institute Long-Term Fellowships 2026-2027

The Folger Institute offers long-term fellowships for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing $70,000 for a standard 9-month period to support full-time scholarly work drawing on the Folger's collections and programs. Fellows may take up to 3 months virtually as part of the fellowship schedule. Applications are due December 15, 2025 (11:59 PM ET).

Leadership and Techplomacy Summit Dubai 2026

International youth summit in Dubai (UAE), February 11-14, 2026, focused on the intersection of technology and diplomacy, including themes like AI governance, digital diplomacy, and cross-cultural leadership. Participation categories include Fully Funded, Partially Funded, Free Access, and Self-Funded options. Application deadline: December 25, 2025.

Meaningful XR 2026 – Call for Participation

Meaningful XR (MXR) invites submissions for its 2026 conference. The event runs May 30-31, 2026 in Portland, Oregon, with hybrid options for posters and remote participation in selected sessions and social events (via headset, computer, or mobile). Physical attendance of at least one author is required for papers, panels, and demos. Submission deadline: February 20, 2026. Decisions announced April 1, 2026.
