Figure allongée on Sarcophagus Lid – Colline de Byrsa, Carthage This 3D scan captures a funerary sculpture found on Colline de Byrsa in ancient Carthage. The reclining figure likely represents the deceased in a peaceful pose, commonly seen in Roman et Punique funerary art. The site, rich in layers of Carthaginian et Roman history, offers insight into the cultural blending that occurred in this historic city. Scanned on-site in July 2025 using photogrammetry. Thanks to the Tanit XR project for preserving Tunisian heritage in 3D. .
The scan above is our full-detail preservation record. This optimized version is light enough for real-time use, game engines, WebXR, VR, et community projects. Build something with it.
