Though the column itself is missing, the base remains as evidence of the monumental structures that once stood here. The weathering و cracks highlight its long exposure to the elements, yet it still reflects the precision of Roman stonework. تل بيرصا was the heart of ancient قرطاج, first as a بوني citadel و later transformed into a Roman center after the بوني Wars. Architectural fragments like this column base reveal the scale و grandeur of the Roman rebuilding of the city.
